The Historic No One
The first woodblock print. The piece is a philosophy style modern woodblock created from a lazor engraver, each piece is signed & Serialized. Every print has unique imperfections but all prints meet a high standard if they are sold. the piece asks us to look at The Historic through the lens of Death, to see what they still tell. then it points to who was The Historic No One's, & asks us to consider the millions who built the world & their effects on us. it asks what is historic, between us, & what does a common legacy mean. The piece was originally created from a Van Gogh.
